Can you give some documentation of this behavior?  Steps to reproduce?

What configuration are you running dspam in?  is it an LMTP
pass-through?  Where are you placing the DSPAM signature?  if the
DSPAM signature is in the body, that would be a good reason to include
an extra newline, yes?

Does the extra newline happen for you with every processed e-mail?  Or
is it intermittent?  if it is intermittent, can you characterize which
messages get an additional newline, as opposed to the others?

One dspam configuration i'm running is an LMTP passthrough, where it
would have the opportunity to add a newline.  But it is also placing
the signature in the body, so that's to be expected.

Help us reproduce the problem, so we can help you fix it.
