[Pkg-dssi-devel] dssi-vst in Debian

Dear DSSI Maintainers,

I was surprised about the fact that dssi-vst has no package in Debian,
and not even a wnpp bug (ITP, RFP) exists against it.

I personally really would like to see it in, and decided to package it.

My question is, am I allowed to do it on my own, or the team reserves
the right for it? If so, may I join the team and do it that way?
