[eclipse-maintainers] Interest in Eclipse packaging

Hi.

I'm the maintainer of Eclipse on Gentoo. I've fought with this beast for 
over a year now, and have learned many a hard lesson about this 
project's rather quaint build system.

I'll be monitoring this list and provide helpful comments whenever I 
can. I notice that VMWare is flaky on my machine currently, and that Xen 
is still not in the Gentoo tree, so I can't get a Debian virtual machine 
up and running to test your efforts quite yet, I'm afraid.
