Hi all,

good news, removing one of the biggest obstacle to the release of
experimental packaes was as simple as adding this in debian/rules:

rm `pwd`/debian/emboss-lib/usr/include/pcre* # Not very elegant way to solve the conflict with libpcre-dev

The resulting emboss pacakge are lintian-dirty, but they seem to be able
to manipulate sequence correctly. As the NEW queue is longer that one
month, I think that it would be better if we would try to have an
uploadable source pacakge as soon as possible.

What is in your opinion the level of quality required for experimental
packages? The current pacakges build, can be installed and remved, and
have a detailed copyright file. Is it enough?

Have a nice day,
