In the interest of making it easier to port non-debian-specific changes back to upstream, I've pushed another branch, dwendt_vmbuilder_debian. This branch is based off Bzed's work (which he is not updating right now) and Ckaenzig's work (more on that later); this branch is supposed to include everything suitable for sending back to the upstream. It's currently populated with the changes made to master that don't involve our packaging, since the packaging is specific to debian and VMbuilder doesn't have packaging in their trunk anymore.

If you don't care about this, you don't need to do anything - just push to master as usual and I'll cherrypick the ones that apply.

Now, there is another branch, ckaenzig_junk_lenny. Bzed e-mailed me about this one. This is another branch representing the upstream lp:~ckaenzig/+junk/lenny, which adds preliminary Debian Lenny support for vmbuilder. -Very- preliminary, according to the branch description[1]:

"It works for me but the code is currently not very clean and is not nearly ready to be merged back.I lack some knownledge of the inner workings of debian which makes it difficult to cleanup the scripts. "

And of course I have included two more tags, bzed_vmbuilder_debian-r344 (since it's where ckaenzig branches from bzed) and ckenzig_junk_lenny-r346.
