Dear Graziano,

there is actually a request for upgrading GWT (http://bugs.debian.org/624205).
If Eucalyptus 2.0.3 needs gwt 2.x then we can go ahead with the upgrade as
there is only eucalyptus-java-common that depends on libgwt-user-java or
libgwt-dev-java.

On the other hand, if Eucalyptus 2.0.3 needs to stay with the 1.6.4 branch, we
can decline to upgrade the package.  In that case, it would be nice to offer a
separate package, like gwt2, with the newer branch.  That may simplify things
if some day Eucalyptus needs it unconditionally.

By the way, I see that there is a bug of serious severity, http://bugs.debian.org/629733,
that we must close.  I can prepare an upload once I know if we upgrade to gwt 2.x
or not.  I will also put this mailing list as maintainer of the package, so that
such issues are more easily spotted.
