[pkg-eucalyptus-maintainers] Eucalyptus

Hi,

We've corrected the issues cited with Eucalyptus and uploaded a new build.
The major change includes the removal of the hairy upgrade code that used
/tmp in a less than ideal way to store some state information. The upgrade
code only supported upgrades from 3.x anyway, and since Debian has never
had Eucalyptus packages > 1.6.2, I thought it best to just remove it
altogether. Future versions of Eucalyptus to be pushed to Debian should
have upgrade code integrated into the software itself rather than relying
on hackery in the maintainer scripts.

Also, you asked why one of our JARs, bootstrap.jar, was devoid of code. In
the future, when upgrades are handled properly, this JAR will play a role
in that process. For now, it is mostly an innocuous placeholder.

Thanks again for the time you have spent on this thus far Luca. We hope
that this one will pass muster and be included in Sid soon.

Best regards,

Brian
