Followup-For: Bug #347703
After the upgrade to evolution-2.4.2.1-1 I noticed this problem as
described in the original report (all CPU used during "Checking folder
consistency" on startup). I was able to get evolution back on its
feet again by renaming .evolution (thus losing all the stuff stored
"On This Computer"), but the fix didn't last -- after 10 days (about
2000-3000 mail messages processed) it recurred.
Once again, I've been able to get evolution working by renaming
.evolution but I can't keep doing this forever -- I've already got at
least 3 Sent folders I'll have to merge once this bug is fixed :(
I use a Maildir mailbox tree to actually store my mail, which is delivered
directly to me by postfix.
