[Evolution] Bug#374022: evolution: Evolution calendar alarms do not

I have a number of appointments set up in my evolution calendar. A while
ago I realized that the alarms defined for these appointments do not
work at all. I do not get any alarms/notifications as I used to roughly
three months ago.
Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Define an appointment in the Evolution calendar
2. Define an alarm for it
3. Wait for the time for it to go off
Actual Results:
Nothing happens, no notification at all.
Expected Results:
A notification message should pop up.
