Cool. I don't know about other people, but I guess it make sense to
maintain it in the same repository as evolution, since they are closely
related (at least for eds stuff). Plus, it'd be nice to have more
manpower on evolution packaging.

Debcheckout evolution would have pointed you to:

svn://svn.debian.org/svn/pkg-evolution/

There's no 2.27 packaging at the moment (no time) but that will be the
case one day. When I have time I'll do some work on it, but if you want
to start working on it, I guess it's doable. I can provide you commit
access on the repository, but you can submit patches, that would help.
