Evo does not support remote PAC scripts yet, it needs to be converted to
using libsoup-gnome so that they actually work.

PAC scripts only work for gecko applications currently, so that’s mostly
iceweasel and epiphany.

Yes, definitely. I think it used to work on your system simply because
evolution-exchange entirely ignored any kind of proxy settings.
