There's no patch in evolution nor evolution-data-server which might be
related to that, either in Debian nor Ubuntu. So I don't really know.

I can't reproduce either, the prerequisite are out of my range (no
network-manager, no gnome, and no caldav), so I can't help you on this,
sorry.
