It seems this is a duplicate of upstream
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=624335 and a fix seems to be
available.

Please could you apply the patch and upload a new revision ASAP?

The problem now hit my inbox,... and my mailsystem is now basically
completely unusable.
