Thanks for the patch (though I ended patching configure and not
configure.ac). But I do have an issue with champlain 0.8. When built
against this version, the contact maps crashes the whole app when
closed, while it does not in 2.32.2-2 (built against champlain 0.4).

The backtrace doesn't really look meaningful but it still seems
champlain 0.8 might not be completely source-compatible with 0.4 or
something.

Any clue?
