Hmmm... unfortunately, this hasn't solved all the problems it seems.

I now experience again the impossibility to expunge some folder's deleted mails : 

(evolution:5041): camel-local-provider-WARNING **: Didn't get the next message where I expected (435128) got 442552 instead

as soon as I Ctr-e inside a particular folder :-(

Anyway, it wouldn't harm I guess.
