Nope : evolution is internally *in*consistent : it complains of needing to be online "to complete the operation", but the damn "little icon on bottom left" is one of two electrical extensions *connected*. Unless I'm severely mistaken, I interpret this as "online".

In other words, either I'm drunk or evolution is schizophrenic...

PS : ISTR that at ione point, when started from a terminal window, evolution moaned about something with dbus (can't remember what exactly). That no longer happens...
