Package: evolution
Version: 3.4.4-3
Severity: grave
Tags: d-i patch upstream
Justification: renders package unusable
Dear Maintainer,
After upgrading to wheezy, it is not possible to run evolution when someone
connects to linux box from remote client x2go, vnc
below message from term screen
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":1".
Failed to connected to any renderer:
XServer appears to lack required GLX support
I googled internet and someone discribed solution
http://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/75621/how-to-get-evolution-to-run-in-vnc-on-debian-wheezy
This solution (using VirtualGL code) works for me, evolution starts and does well until I try to
compose massage, after clicking to edit window in evolution-composer or move to
edit window by tab key, evolution crashes.
evolution(evolution:14075): Gdk-WARNING **: The program 'evolution' received an X
Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)'.
