Package: evolution-ews
Version: 3.18.5-1
Severity: normal
Tags: newcomer
Dear Maintainer,
A system-update causes evolution-ews to fail. Each attempt to
connect to the EWS server brought up a password dialog but the
connection could not be retrieved anymore.
Other symptoms and a more accurate description
including solutions can be found in
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1327072
My personal workaround was finally:
replacing /usr/bin/ntlm_auth with the version from
winbind_4.2.10+dfsg-0+deb8u2_amd64.deb (jessie)
The better solution is of course to patch evolution-ews as done
by the Fedora team.
best regards
