[Pkg-exppsy-maintainers] BUG: pyepl ubuntu package

Howdy Folks:

So it looks like the Ubuntu folks have gone and ruined a perfectly good
pyepl dpkg. It looks like they moved the files in
site-packages/pyepl/resources to /usr/share/python-pyepl, which is fine, but
did not make a simlink to them in the site-packages/pyepl/resources
directory.

Sadly, due to some non-perfect coding, pyepl fails to run raising an error
when it can't find the icon.png or splash.png.

You would think that folks would not change anything that they then don't
try running at least once.

In any case, do you have any suggestions for the fastest way to fix this.
I'm happy to email the ubuntu maintainers, though if you know any better
method please let me know.

Thanks,
Per
