hey you guys,

there's a discussion going on in the mvpa-toolbox at googlegroups.com 
mailing list about recursive feature elimination, and we'd really 
welcome your thoughts if you feel like weighing in.

one thing i'd particularly be interested in - has anyone run a test 
comparing (say) SMLR and RFE using multiple real-world datasets? i 
looked through the long threads on this list in March (or thereabouts), 
but i had trouble pulling out a conclusion
