Thanks Barry for 2.6 hint,

So Ubuntu did it again -- jumped ahead of the wagon (ie made 2.6 version
default without first making majority part of packages compatible)...
heh heh

Their patch is especially nice, since
they incorporated all generated files into it:

although afaik they are cleaned up during debian/rules clean anyways...

Per, could you check if few lines of changes in setup.py in that diff
are adequate? (they seems good to me but who knows... should pyepl be
compatible with python 2.3? I could not check since I don't have it ;) )
