Why is the neuroimaging community feeling it has to reinvent what the CFD
community invented? I really amazes me. If we need VTK data structures,
why don't we just go ahead and use them?

PS: And yeah, why nifti? I like HDF5 :P
PPS: I am only half serious. I know the socialogical reasons. But from a
technical point of view, it dismays me.
