[Pkg-exppsy-pynifti] Installing PyNifti on Windows 7 (64 bits) with Python 2.6

Hi I'm having problems installing PyNifti on Windows 7 (64 bits) with Python
2.6.

I'm having the exact same issues as the one described here:

Was this issue ever resolved?
