Now it's instead failing to build with this error:
aclocal: configure.in: 10: macro `AM_PROG_LIBTOOL' not found in library
make: *** [debian/stamp-autotools-files] Error 1

This requires a build dependency on libtool.  Please check that you
actually have all the build dependencies you need.
