Hi Michele,

Well, the good new is the new 389-ds-base-1.2.1 package version compiles
on Debian lenny :)
I tested this into a chroot environment, and I had to install some extra
depencences, in a try and error method, but finally this compiled and
installed well.

I haven't configured the package yet, then I don't know if I will have
problems with the script for the service or another thing as the
installation directory, because this is in /opt/dirsrv , and I as far as
I know this is not a Debian standard. Then, do I/we have to work over
this, or I can leave this by default?

I think I'll configure the directory server, I'll see if the service can
start and if this looks good before try to generate the .deb package.

Regards.
