It's quite hard to reproduce as it's not frequent. I'm using pppoe to my modem (so no DHCP), the connexion is permanent - it's reset once a day by my ISP, but I have a script which redials immediately. I'm using resolvconf which restarts fetchmail at reconnects. Xav
