[pkg-fetchmail-maint] Bug#348037: acknowledged by developer (Bug#348037: fixed in fetchmail 6.3.1-3)

This bug still exists in 6.3.1-3.
Fetchmail runs under the user "fetchmail".
Therefore no /var/run/fetchmail.pid file gets created but a "/var/lib/ 
fetchmail/.fetchmail.pid" file.
/etc/init.d/fetchmail looks for the /var/run/fetchmail.pid file does  
not find it and cannot stop the fetchmail daemon.
I could either run fetchmail under the root account which I do not  
want to do or change the definition of the PIDFILE definition in /etc/ 
init.d/fetchmail.
