Word it positively: "Could it give..."

Basically, with POP3, it can't at this time, and that's a feature the
6.3 versions aren't going to see.

Reason #1: The size is available in POP3 without looking at the message or
headers at all.

Reason #2: Being able to download the header alone ("TOP" command in
RFC-1939) is an /optional/ server feature.

Bottom line: "it could on some servers, at additional download time, if
someone had written the code".

Sorry, perhaps in a later release.
