Probably. Meanwhile, you can do this to work around this obstacle:
1. to just wake up the sleeping fetchmail daemon, send a SIGUSR1 signal.
(Documented.)
2. separate the fetchmail configurations into their own directories, and
run at least one with the FETCHMAILHOME variable set.
