Package: fetchmail
Version: 6.3.21-4
Severity: normal
Tags: l10n
Dear Maintainer,
emails generated by fetchmail when it fails to connect to a remote
server for downloading emails (and when connection is restored)
translate the Subject header field as follows (this is spanish):
Asunto: =?UTF-8?Q?autenticaci=C3=B3n?= de fetchmail correcta en
kensen at mail.jvc.es
Previous versions of fetchmail, and I supose that current version
too when localization is disabled (LC_ALL=C) would say:
Subject: fetchmail authentication OK on kensen at mail.jvc.es
AFAIK, the header field name should remain in english (Subject,
not Asunto) no matter which language is used for the subject body.
Last time I saw a proper message was Nov,25 2013, and first time
I have seen a buggy message is Apr,8 2014. I upgraded from version
6.3.16-2 to 6.3.21-4 inbetween, on Jan,21 2014.
