"Notice that FlightGear 1.9.0 requires at least version 2.7.8."

In Debian Sid at this moment, http://packages.debian.org/sid/openscenegraph
"Package: openscenegraph (2.8.0-4 and others)"

Does it mean that there is one blocking issue less?
