Package: fgfs-base
Version: 2.4.0-1
Severity: serious
Justification: dirty upgrade path from squeeze if fgfs-atlas is installed
Hi,
fgfs-base needs to add Breaks against all packages that were shipping
something in /usr/share/games/FlightGear so the postinst is really only
triggered for userdata in /usr/share/games/FlightGear.
One of these packages is fgfs-atlas (only in squeeze, removed in wheezy,
unusable in sid), so the following should do the job:
Breaks: fgfs-atlas (<= 0.3.1-2+b999)
I noticed this while doing piuparts tests distupgrade tests for packages
in squeeze that no longer exist in wheezy.
>From the attached log, scroll to the bottom:
3m23.4s ERROR: FAIL: debsums reports modifications inside the chroot:
debsums: missing file /usr/share/games/FlightGear/AtlasPalette (from fgfs-atlas package)
According to the Contents file for squeeze/amd64, fgfs-atlas is the only
package that needs to be "broken".
As a newer version is already in sid, this fix would have to go through
t-p-u.
Cheers,
Andreas
