Looks like the problem is that we install our icons in the wrong place 
(/usr/share/icons/<size> instead of /usr/share/icons/hicolor/<size>, 
https://specifications.freedesktop.org/icon-theme-spec/icon-theme-spec-latest.html#directory_layout 
).  This should be simple to fix in flightgear.install
