I rated bug #268931 release critical. Not sure if that is fully justified.
php4-interbase is fully functional and the only breakage that could happen
is for people using firebird1 (not in sarge) after a security
rebuild of php4-interbase.

But normal rebuilding is broken too, so it might still qualify as RC. It
still build-depends on firebird-dev instead of firebird2-dev.

Great. I have prepared new packages (4.3.8-1) and fixed a small bug in the
changelog causing priority medium to be ignored in 4.3.6-2 as well. If you
can't find a replacing sponsor drop me a line and I'll bug #debian-devel
on irc.

If 4.3.8-1 can't make it into testing I think 4.3.6-2 is a good candidate
fot testing-proposed-updates. And If that fails too the current situation
is something that could be lived with if absolutely necessary.

I'd like to request people on pkg-firebird-general to test these packages.
