I tried 1.5.1.

bad parameters on attach or create database
-CHARACTER SET win1251 is not defined

I indeed try to connect using character set win1251, that used to work 
with 1.0.x and 1.5.0 (from unstable)

I'll try your new 1.5.0 and report later.
