We seemed to have duplicated some work. You are a bit ahead of me,
and if you can pull it off I say... great! I was hoping to find time to dig
into it deeper but I am gone for the weekend, so this mail is it for now.

You might want to look at my package to compare at 
http://217.114.97.127/debian/

Especially the TODO file could be handy to see if you got that. And maybe
some comments in the debian/packages file.

One thing i noticed it doesn't compile for i386 yet. But you probably know that.
