All right, it took 6 hours, but I had some real-life events to take care
of :)

The package is ready[1], full changelog at the end of this mail.

Francesco, please use -v1.5.3.4870-4 when building the package for
upload to allow for the automatic bug closing (in -5).

firebird2 (1.5.3.4870-5) unstable; urgency=medium

  * Urgency medium because of fixing RC bug #340712, affecting Etch

  * Make /var/lib/firebird2/system/security.fdb a configuration file
(and not
    a conffile)
    + Drop debian/firebird2-server-common.conffiles
    + security database instantiation is managed by *-server's postinst via
      /usr/share/firebird2-server-common/instantiate-security-db.sh
