Hi,

After changing my server to a new one and its OS from Fedora Core 2 to
Debian Etch, after a few days ( and transactions ) I found the following
error running Firebird Super Server, when attempting to connect to the
database:

"Lock Manager Out Of Room"

Inspecting /var/log/firebird.log I found the following error traces

servin (Server) Thu Feb 22 10:57:38 2007
        INET/inet_error: read errno = 88

servin (Server) Thu Feb 22 10:57:38 2007
        INET/inet_error: send errno = 88

servin (Server) Thu Feb 22 10:57:38 2007
        Database:
        I/O Error for file "/var/lib/firebird2/data/mydatabase.fdb"
Error while trying to write to file.
        Bad file descriptor

After that I must restart the server, do a back up and restore and
everything runs well only for a few days. Then the error apears again.

As I told you, I changed both hardware and OS, so this error may
have nothing to do with Debian Etch or the firebird2 package, or it does ?

The only reason I'm reporting this to you is in the case you have
heard of this bug before.

Thanks for any help.

Aldo
