Anyway, does the error still appear with increased LockMemSize?

This *may* have something in common with NTPL vs non-NTPL builds.
Unfortunately, I am not familiar with NTPL stuff. I only suspect that
Debian and RedHat builds may differ in this area. Is your architecture
i386? If so, does installing libc6-686 (and restarting the super
server) make any difference?
