Quick fix is to add the following line *after* line 21 of
/var/lib/dpkg/info/firebird2.0-classic.config:

	local FB_VER_no_dots=`echo $FB_VER | sed -e 's/\.//g'

and then run apt-get -f install.

The same error is present in firebird1.5-classic


I'll publish fixed packages shortly.
