Damyan,

I apologise for the time it took to me to answer. Let me answer your
questions of your e-mail on 11th April:

1) In the logging ( firebird.log ) I found the message "SCH_validate --
not entered ", previous to the Lock Manager out of Room.
That led Hellen Borrie spot the cause ( as I told you before ): the
Firebird SS was not using NPTL Model.
2) I have no recipe to distingush between the two models, but the bug
above mentioned leads to believe that the Firebird SS is using pthread
model.
3) Classic Server doesn't use threads, so it is neither NPTL nor
pthread. Thats why it is free from this bug in Debian.
4) Perhaps there is no reason to have the two packages ( NPTL and
pthread ) in Debian ( as the are in Firebird.org ) provided that the SS
package should be NPTL model.

I'm using Classic Server since a month with no error. Super Server,
though more performant, has that nasty bug ( SCH_validate ) which causes
an inmediate Lock Manager out of Room. I can't use it.

Aldo
