yes, this indeed is a problem. i've looked into this a couple of 
months ago, and what i noticed is that even those utilities that have 
a little more usable manual look much like as if they had their manual 
copied straight from the ib6 (pdf) docs, complete with spelling, 
grammar and language errors as is.

since it would be pretty obvious to fix the xs and the question marks 
taking the same route, i do feel bringing this up is important.

two points for starters:

- don't "fix' it by copying the ib docs
- what would be the legal status of the existing manpages?
