We have a nice Git repository for the brave :)
I may put packages somewhere, but this seems like a bad service to me.

This is planned, yes.

Uhm, the 2.0/2.1 packages use different database directories so no
conflict is possible *by default*.

Also, the only possible "conflict" is when newer firebird upgrades the
old databases' ODS (on-disk structure), making it impossible to use them
with older firebirds.

This perhaps also deserves a note in release notes, but a debconf notice
looks like an overkill to me. After all, there will be no transitional
packages so no automatic upgrade to the newer packages.

Perhaps I miss something so I am open for suggestions.
