Package: firebird2.0-common
Version: 2.0.3.12981.ds1-10
Severity: serious
Because of some dependency, aptitude pulled firebird2.0-common onto my
system on the latest upgrade. After that, the next cron run spitted:
/etc/cron.daily/logrotate:
error: firebird2.0:8 unknown user 'firebird'
run-parts: /etc/cron.daily/logrotate exited with return code 1
This seems to be because /etc/logrotate.d/firebird2.0 instructs
logrotate to use the "firebird" user, which firebird2.0-common doesn't
seem to create (though there is a dependency on adduser).
Cheers,
