firebird2.0 just got removed from Debian/unstable, so there will be no 
fix in that version.

Luckily, the gpre manual was rewritten and looks sane in both 
firebird2.1 and firebird2.5. gdef got rewritten only in firebird2.5, 
so I am reassigning this bug to firebird2.1.
