Yup. Firebird 2.5 is not yet ported to alpha. Prior to version 3.0 (in 
alpha stages) Firebird requires a special, unique define for each 
OS+hardware platform it runs on.

Providing that is not hard, but must be synchronized with upstream and 
I am not sure if they want new ports in their 2.5 line. I'll contact 
them.
