[pkg-firebird-general] RC package in stable version

Because of the timing. Squeeze was frozen before 2.5.0 final was 
released.

Frankly, I don't know. On one hand, changes between the RC and 2.5.1 
are not trivial. On the other, they are supposed to be only bug fixes 
and stability issues, so should be acceptable by the stable release 
managers.

I guess I'll have to ask them and see what happens. Can you file a bug 
against firebird2.5 explaining the reason why you need the upgrade? 
Mentioning specific issues would be helpful. Thanks!
