This explains the /var/run/firebird disappearance on reboot. The bug is<br>
from last *Augist* and noone bothered to send a wishlist bugreport to<br>

The fix is trivial and I've included it in both 2.0 (-7 is due around<br>
next Thursday containing mainly translation updates) and 2.1 (git).<br>

OTOH, the -classic server has no initscript so it is going to need a<br>
wrapper around fb_inet_server, fb_lock_manager and possibly other<br>
-classic binaries.
