I hope you will remain wondered :)
Yes, I don't understand the actual reason of this problem, but
I am almost sure that it hasn't causal relationship with the
dependencies, and also I see, that upstream has changed the source code
noticeably in the parts having the relationship with outline and
bitmap view (and editing).
Feel free to reopen this bug if you will be still experiencing this
problem.
