Hi Christian,

You're right, some fonts do only have one weight (one final font file)
for now but may possibly have more in the future. OTOH quite a few of
the font packages we maintain hold more than one weight (more than one
final font file) and these are unlikely to disappear either: they are
released together and belong in the same archive as they are likely to
be used together. Some of our descriptions tend to see them as
collections too.

I'd say a plural fonts-* fits for these richer open font families. But I
guess it's not really extremely important, we can probably live with
that kind of variation, no? What do others in our team think?

AFAICT Fedora has fontfamily-foundry-fonts as the general guideline.
(plural).
